Course & learning design

G Suite 182

Teaching software is usually a slog of click-here screenshots. For a community college, we built the opposite: a gamified, self-paced course that teaches the full Google Workspace toolkit, from Docs and Sheets to Forms, Calendar, and Classroom, through a space-themed "Blog Force" narrative and interactive lessons embedded right in the page.

The approach

A story worth finishing

Each tool becomes a mission. Learners join the "Blog Force," travel the course like a galaxy, and pick up a real, transferable Workspace skill at every stop. The narrative is the hook; the competence is the payload.

Lessons are interactive and self-paced, with practice built in rather than bolted on, so learners do the thing instead of watching someone else do it. The whole course runs in the browser, no install and no login wall.
